Elijah Dukes was a promising prospect for the Tampa Bay Rays, but he f*cked it all up with a litany of off the field issues. Then the Washington Nationals released him two years ago.
Dukes found himself in a familiar place early this morning, he was arrested. Today’s arrest stemmed from marijuana possession and destroying evidence. The 27-year-old had remnants of marijuana on his shirt and you’ll never guess where the rest of the weed went? Yup. He ate it. I guess Dukes is a big fan of the movie, “Super Troopers,” and learned how to eliminate the evidence of ganja.
I can’t believe I’ve had the good fortune to post two “Super Troopers” related articles in as many days. I guess it’s good for me, but not so good for Elijah Dukes and Chief Grady.
