Yadda, yadda, yadda Tiger Woods won the Chevron World Golf Challenge and ended his more than two-year slump. Sure he birdied the 18th hole to beat Zach Johnson by one stroke. Yes this is Tiger’s first win since the whole cheating scandal broke. However the big news was that someone who hasn’t had their fill of the starchy Thanksgiving side dish shouted, “mashed potatoes” while he teed off on the 18th hole.
Mashed potatoes indeed sir with a little gravy on the side.
Well apparently yelling, “mashed potatoes” is quickly becoming the new, “get in the hole,” because it happened here, the 2011 Australian Open, at the Ryder Cup in 2010, and to Ricky Fowler.
I’m personally trying to get, “papas fritas” to catch on, but it hasn’t as of yet. I blame the language barrier.
